Round Table “World Economic Crisis and Belarus” was held in the conference hall of the hotel “Victoria” in Minsk on August 14, 2009. Professor Aleh Tsyvinski (Yale University, USA) made a presentation.
Among the participants of the event there were invited representatives of state authorities, international organizations, independent experts, mass media. The round table was organized in the format of open discussion on the world economic crisis, its trends, impacts on and consequences for the economic development of the Republic of Belarus.
Within the framework of the event the presentation of the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Centre (BEROC) was made.
