The paper presents the results of a study of the national identity of social activists and opinion leaders in Belarus. The study was carried out using Kelly’s repertory grids technique and revealed deep beliefs and stereotypes about Belarusians and representatives of other nationalities. Research included qualitative analysis of the respondents’ statements and determination of their connotations, factor analysis and analysis of the distances between the studied elements.
